Sorry no, (didn't mean to get your hopes up).

Are you still in London, as per profile?

Sports and Specialist is down the road from where I work, I could go and poke around it in my lunch hour tomorrow if you like?

Rob, what's the web address for S&SCC then? Wanna have a look at what you are up to

'bout time you bought a roof for that poor daughter of yours, she looked rather windswept at the Speed Trials, poor lass

Mondeo is going though I'm afraid, part of the deal of me getting the Cerbera was a brand new top spec Grand Scenic for my wife!

Grand Scenic huh? Ooh nice (says the guy who bought a Citreon Xsara Picasso for the wife, even worse than that, gunna replace it in January with....another one)

Rob, I gather from DM's website no one bought the yellow Cerb in the end? Keeps us/me a bit more exclusive I guess . Best not have too many fast yellow Cerbs out there, dont want to go upsetting all the 'ordinary' blue owners now, do we/I

PS Rob, just found this one on AutoTrader, think its private, but...
TVR CERBERA 4.5, Midnight Sapphire
Pearl with full black & cream leather interior. H/front screen, Air con, hydratrak LSD, 18Ó anthracyte spider wheels, upgraded stereo with 6 CD changer, gas discharge headlights, stainless steel dash with coloured instruments, overmats. Immaculate condition, FSH. . £28,995

Doesnt state a year, cant see the number plate from the photo but it 'looks like' a Y reg. Dunno how that compares to the one you're looking at?

The motoring sins we fathers have to commit in the name of marital harmony eh!

Yeah I guess so, although their website was a little out of date when I visited, but has been updated since. I've seen nothing from the two fellas who expressed an interest on here since, so perhaps things fell through with part-exs etc?

Had spotted that one thanks Nick, looks good value but I'm ideally after buying from a dealer rather than privately, also like the inside portland grey and black combo on the one I've my eye on

Hmmm, still nothing, but getting other mail OK...

Have you tried posting via my profile to see if that works, as I received an ad from PH a few hours back.

Nuts to it!!

All I said was, that I'm no mechanic so please don't expect too much from me!

I will happily take my camera if you like so is there anything you particularly would like me to photograph / look at / ask?

Email a response if you prefer. they seem to be getting to me OK.

To have someone just have an initial look is great, as chances are if there is anything obviously wrong, having a quick look and listen will be enough to spot it - I've emailed some comments from those who've seen the car before, so I'd guess if they'd been sorted out the car should be OK.

I really appreciate this though, as you've got a better idea than myself (not mechanical nor Cebera owner!) so I'd imagine you would spot anything amiss more than I would.

Besides what I mentioned in the e-mail there is nothing else I can think to ask, a selection of photos would be nice, but don't spend too much time on it though!

Rob,

I'll quite happily spend all day looking around it!!!

So long as I can get away with it at work (Which I reckon I can!)

I do hope it's a good one, but that email didn't sound too possitive. I'll take it as I find it, but it does sound as though the car has had a pretty tough life so far.

All I'll be able to tell you is whether I would buy it at the price it's being offered.

Bis Morgen,

Joe.

I'd normally be OK for it, but we've committed to a client and I don't fancy slipping delivery into my holiday in three weeks time - otherwise I'd have been up like a shot!

After a night sleeping on it I'm a bit more thoughtful rather than the buy BUY BUY frame of mind I was in last night, I plan to give some of the previous dealers who had the car a call and see what they say, and if they attended to anything before they moved it on.
