I'm sure the 'originality' police will be along soon, but I'm having my headlights converted to VW Lupo...

I think it is a marked improvement without losing the basic style....

HiD's would have been a simpler and cheaper route and avoided any originality police interrogations perhaps, but they look fine to me as previous poster said its your car !

Hi mate
The Lupo lights will bring it forward in time
And as long as your happy that's all that matters
And will mean that you will be able to drive after sunset
Take no notice of what the police say

Another very nice job looking good when finished.

Great to see the standard improved whilst keeping the style and above all making it safer to drive at night. It's something I would do if I had the old style lights. :-)

Hmmm nice. Might look in to this myself. More details of roughly what's needed and involved would be great. I like how it retains the style but loses the dated looking pattern glass.

Apologies for the hi-jack but....I was drivin' in my mate's 335i the other day and thought that the beam was amazing. When I got out I was shocked to find that the nacelles were VERY similar to Cerbie's.
Anyone done a conversion with these before scratchchin??

No but in going to sort my lights out this year. The candles are dangerous unlike the spots that are very good.
