Looking for recommendations for a cover for my Cerb, outdoor and indoor.. Fitted preferred. Just to add the moon on a stick, ideally not too expensive.. Got enough to spend to get it back on the road. blablawhistle

Had a quick search but nothing came up..

Funny I have had exactly the same thought this morning also. However I am only looking indoor. Thinking of making something with fleece, 5m x 3m rectangle but elastic round the bottom. Not fitted but snug. Can get enough material to make 2, Was thinking of making one for me then selling one for about £70 on fleebay.

I've got a Moltex cover, they are semi tailored meaning they are made to fit a few different cars of similar shape. I got one for my Beetle first at I started out with one of those Halford 40 quid jobs that was pants it lasted about three months before shredding its self to bits. The Moletex was so good on the Beetle I got one for the Cerb, but the shape they have for the Cerb isn't such a nice fit as the Beetle one, as the Cerb has such a low roof line it sags & gets pools of water in the sags. Also because the water stands on it much more than the beetle it goes green quicker, the snow we just had was actually really good for cleaning off the green stuff...

But as a cover it still works really well, just looks a bit rubbish, but the fully tailored ones that come with good recommendations cost a lot more, mine was about 150 quid. There are some old threads in general gassing I think, I found some when I was looking. Some people say the looser fitting ones are better as the let air mover about under the cover, I've not tried a tight one so don't know wink

I don't think mine's what you class as "fitted"... Had it 9 years though & it looks like it will last longer than I will smile

Heavy duty one from 'Classic Additions'

If your after a cheap/interim cover, the Halfords outdoor Medium cover fits like a charm.

Just bought a CC manufactured cover for my car. Looks like a pair of baggy tights. Rubbish.
