The Cerbera has ten different ECUs controlling functions ranging from engine management to door opening and locking. Those early ECUs are still made using traditional soldering methods that have proven to be robust. And they are still used in the Cerbera today, in its tenth year of production'

What a load of tosh. I have had no end of snags with door and window controllers and, it seems, so has everybody else. Is it any wonder we still have posts about dodgy wipers, brakes, clutch cylinders, engines etc, etc when the company itself pushes out such crap. Finally I will leave you with this

That's the spirit George, if nothing else works then a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

And they are still used by mechanics in the repair of Cerberas today, in its tenth year of infestation'
Tosh indeed. The Cerbera has one ECU. Unless of course you count the magnetic switch in the doors as an ECU. Or the overblown wiper connector above the steering which is just a glorified connector.
Perhaps you could barely call the Alarm an ECU. One of the few bits of my car that hasn't come to pieces yet?

Perhaps she means 'most Cerberas end up having 10 ECU repairs because I'm as mean with the solder as I am with the Araldite..'?
TVR don't actually make the ECU though!
You could argue that wht wiper box, door box, light box etc... are ECUs, but you couldn't argue they are well constructed! The smell of melted plastic is testament to that.
