The fuel hose between the fuel filter and the fuel pipe leading to the front (engine) started to leak. The fuel hose fitted on my cerb. has a banjo termination in one end and a M12 threaded connetion in the other. Is that normal?

In the parts manual is a fuel hose no. L0197. It looks like that has the righ M12 threaded terminal in one but in the other end is no connection. I also not that there is mentioned a Roll over valve in the spare parts manual. (See page 6-7 in this parts manual: http://rudmanworld.com/cerberus/technical_info/par... I have also found out that fuel hose no. L0196 has a banjo connection in one end and no connetion in the other.

It is not shown how the entire system looks like in the parts manual, so here comes the 1 Million question:

Do any of you know if the ?
-fuel filter connects to the fuel hose L0196 bonjo connection
-the fuel hose L0196 end with no terminater connect to the Roll over valve L0176
-the Roll over valve connect to fule hose L0197 end with no terminate.

I don't think my cerbera has a roll over valve. Do any you know where it should be where it should be mounted (I would appreciate a photo)?

Is there a good reason for removing the roll over valve?

Fuel does not flow through the rollover valve. It is in (or should be in) the vent circuit between the spur on the side of the filler neck and the carbon canister in the rear wheel arch. It is located behind the left hand side of the fuel tank. Its not uncommon for it to be removed in an attempt to cure venting problems with the fuel tank.

The fuel lines shown in the parts manual do not tally with what is on my car.

mine is plumbed thus;
Plain ended hose from the fuel tank through the back of the wheelarch to the fuel pump.
The pressure side of the fuel pump goes to the fuel filter - the pipe has a banjo connection on both ends.
The output side of the fuel filter goes to the hard line the runs inside the cabin - the pipe has a banjo on one eed and a small compression fitting with an olive on the other end. I suspect it is this compression joint that you are seeing as an M12 connector.

The vent goes from the spur on the filler neck to the roll over valve.
From the roll over valve to the solenoid valve on the carbon canister.
The other side of the solenoid valve goes through the transmission tunnel to the 4 way vacuum connector at the back of the engine.
