Hi,

As in the title really, i need a replacement ecu because mine is giving sudden problems which can not be fixed. Does anyone have one laying arround after an LS conversion or from a damaged car?
Please send me a message with your price and i am sure we will come to a deal.

Best regards,

Mark

What is the issue with your ecu?
Just curious as I thought they’re pretty robust.

Strange problem, which took me a long time to trace down allthough i am used to working with ECU's. Bassically it is running but it uses very extreme fuel adaption values that can not be deleted, not even after changing the RAM and EPROM. The adaptions are so extreme that they create extreme misfires. How it suddenly got this way is anybodies guess.

Just to clarify, are you saying that you can't reset the adaptives or that when you reset them they go extreme again?

The TVR diagnostic SW says operation denied, that is why i have gone through the long path of different official SW, different lab top, different serial link cable, ... The ecu was tested o.k. by MBE but does the same thing in both mine and another car, it is a very strange behaviour but somehow something is damaged which causes it to read in a different map and considers the values as the fuel adaptions. I have already invested too much time and money into the debugging of this issue, just replacing it will be the easiest and best solution. Spring will be here soon, the car needs to drive again!

I guess Tvr Dean would be your best bet for a used one. If it helps I'll but the faulty one from you? Your profile mentions that you are in Belgium. I'm in over that way in a few weeks and could meet you if possible?
