Hi Guys,

i'm looking at this Cerb next week, does anyone know this car, or it's history (Green 2002 52 reg for sale on PH)

Stunning car, not sure about interior but it's all personal taste ! Hell mine is yellow smile

Had no dealings with shmoo but have seen them advertise a number of Cerbera's before so must be familiar with the cars.

Just have a good look around it and go into Cerb ownership with eyes open ! They state in advert it's just had 12k service but don't state who with ? That's a big thing in my book ! If its been serviced by someone we know that would make a big difference

Good luck

Ask when the tappet service was done and by who...that should give a good indication on the wear of the engine... With luck!

Advert says that Henley Heritage and str8six have looked after the car from new, so it dosen't come any better than that.
A phone call to Jason at Str8six will soon give you an accurate assessment of the car.
It does look very nice in that colour combo.

Thanks Guys,

Don't particularly like the interior colour combo myself but can live with it (for now!) as otherwise looks like a crackin car.
I will give Jason a shout for info too. Will let you know if i purchase my first Cerb.

Thanks again,

Pete

bought an Esprit S4 from these guys and it was absolute rubbish. My own fault as I didnt go and view it. Lost a shed load of money but back in the TVR fold again now. Looks a nice car on the photos but then so did mine.

Point well made Dunky Boy,

I'm not sold on the car yet, good write up (history) and nice pics, BUT I will be going to see this one because as you know only too well until you see in the flesh you can't tell what your looking at. But as always it's also good to research these things and at least try and get in the know before you view.
Let you know how i get on

The car does look stunning but don't be fooled by thinking a late expensive car is not going to cost you money to get into top condition, or to get rid of niggles.

Listen to the likes of Gazzab who always suggest you buy a car with demonstrable significant recent maintenance work done - even better, buy from a P'Header

A car that has been standing for a while will cost you.

IMHO of course.

and I never follow my own rules and end up spending a f'ing fortune making a shiny car perfect under the bonnet. Buy cars from me - thats the answer.

Well I think that colour is stunning, inside and out. Let us know what it's like. Shmoo have been advertising tvrs on ph for some time. Another option could be this, again a lovely colour in my opinion.

Decided not to go for that Cerb in the end after much research and advice taken, thank you all, you know who you are!
Got this today as a consolation prize, 06 Reg M3 CS, very clean and only 40k on the clock.

Will keep looking for the right Cerb though

Thanks again

Pete
