Potential cerbera owner
Discussion
Hi,
I'm currently thinking about buying a cerbera - why, well I've had an s1 and s2 elise in the past and see a tvr as the next itch to scratch. My problem is that I generally prefer to buy privately not just from a financial perspective but also because buying direct from a passionate owner I find gives a better result in terms of getting a car which has had a proper history.
Is there anyone who lives in gloucestershire and would be willing to take me out in their cerbera and answer a few questions, there would be beer or wine tokens in it of course! This would be a more honest chance for me to research whether a tvr would be compatible with me rather than wasting a dealers time with no intention to purchase. I can't think of a better way other than hiring one for a day which doesn't seem possible locally.
Cheers
James

Thanks for the idea - I had read in a few places that the tvrcc forums and regions in general were not as active as pistonheads these days (the origins of which were tvr?). But happy to be corrected.
I will be going along to Neil Garners next month which is fairly local and looks like a good turnout (almost as good as chatsworth!).
I really would be happy paying to hire a cerbera for a day but this isn't really a common option it seems.

It's a few weeks away, but I highly recommend getting yourself up to Chatsworth. You'll meet a very good cross section of owners, and there will be a number of cars for sale as well.
