That's been for sale for months was on fleabay last Summer. You need to look at that as a trade sale as its not really desirable to the typical buying audience. If everything else is perfect on it, the max woukd have to be tops 4k. Then source an ajp.
The trade in on that would be pitiful. No offence intended.

Clearly its difficult to sell because as said it has been for sale, certainly since last summer. Surely it must be worth at least as much as 1 of the right-off (no chassis damage, easy fix, repairs for £600
) jobs.
Like the idea of selling the engine to a Chimp owner and sticking an LS in there - so if the rest of the car is good must be £6k to £7k ??

except it wouldn't be the only cerb in the states ..
Really? I know there was one here legally for 12 months owned by an ex-pat, but I haven't heard of any others.Well no an LS is not correct... but I guess it depends what your after. For me an early 4.2 with extensive refurb to keep it origanal ( ok spiders.. ) is what I wanted. But if you bought this Cerb and flogged the Rover engine...
At what point in the pricing of engines would you think? Sod it, let's go for it...
That said I have a race Tuscan engine being offered to me, maybe rebuild a stacked str6 and swap engines?
