I've run a red Cerb around Milton Keynes for the past 5 years, best car i've ever had but i want to put it away and keep her as a future classic.

Her in doors has given permission to look at the Typhon. Can anyone point me to a spec all i seem to be able to get anywhere are a few pictures.

Many thanx (new PHer)

That's jolly decent of her. You might want to try whittling her down to letting you sneak a glimpse of Men & Motors before the year's out, then...

T400/T440/Typhon are basically the same car, as far as I'm aware, with varying states of engine tune + sequential box. The Typhon being the top of the range.

Firstly - welcome! You'll find this place a wealth of advice (some of it may be classed as knowledge as well ).

The Typhon/T400/T440 (which are pretty much one and the same) hasn't seen light of day yet. General concencus says that you are unlikely to be able to get hold of one for some time - the waiting list probably extends to two years or more, and production may not restart until 2005/2006. However, there is a new broom sweeping clean at TVR at present, so all this could change. More details on the specification are on the TVR web site at www.tvr-eng.co.uk; I believe it is planned to be available inm a 2+2 configuration if required.

Looks like you might have to hoon around in your Cerbera for a little longer - that can't be a bad thing surely? Alternatively, you could update and buy a later version to tide you over.....

Production is on hold whilst they test/develop it more. But there's at least one customer with a T4xx already... lovely looking grey one, if I remember rightly.

Oh, and they all come with the option of long range petrol tank/back seats, as far as I know.
