Everyone else is commenting on how there aren't many bargains to be had nowadays?

I looked at Cerbs for sale and if you check there are only 10 V8,s for sale that must be a good thing because people are keeping them and the ones that are keeping them must have spent thousands getting them as they should be, I have, so getting a good one should be for the right price so put your prices up when you sell them

No bargains out there?

Is £10,500 a bargain price for a 4.5 Cerb with 12 months MOT?
There's one out there at that price .... although it might get sold before it gets advertised!

nono Thats way to low, those kind of figures should only apply to cerbs with less than desirable history or current issues not a clean well maintained example.

I'm one of those who's spent thousands returning my Cerb to it original glorious condition and I now would like to sell so I'll be at the top end of the price scale. After all 16k for an iconic fire breathing V8 monster thats an investment as a future classic or 18k for a base Hyundai Veloster that'll depreciate faster that Stavros Flatley's savings let alone anything remotely fast and german!

I suppose it's one of these cars that only really appeals to the bravest of buyers - both in terms of it's (I think unfounded) reputation for being a real handful as well as it's reputation for costing a great deal to run and maintain.

Depending on your circumstances and the reason for sale, you can either afford to wait for the right buyer and keep it A1 in the meantime, or you're forced to sell for whatever you can get for it and you're at the buyer's mercy with respect to price.

Unlike some cars, I get the distinct impression that there are only two types of Cerbera on the market. There are sorted ones at the high end of the scale, and there are those which need work. Any work on Cerberas costs a small fortune so there isn't really much of a mid-range scattering of cars. They either command a high price or they don't.

8K! That is just too cheap. Which one was yours, is it on the classifieds?

How odd, I put a deposit on one yesterday ;-) woohoo Honest car at an honest price....

Seems to me £8k for a nice car up together car is too cheap, I gauge the bottom of the market by the still broken Cat C/D's that are advertised at 7k, even if they go for 5k, 8k for a good car is too cheap... having said that, these are rare and special cars and they need a rare and special (in a good waytongue out) buyer... If you need to sell it fast your fcensoredd

Couldn't see it in the classifieds.

Though looking at the other adverts in the classifieds, at £8k yours would have been the cheapest 4.5 by some margin. I suspect you paid the price for selling whilst their was snow on the floor.

Shoot you should have sold yours to Wheeler Dealers as they pick up a bag of nails for 8k if yours was sorted they could have bought it then decided to maybe make it a Typhoon Cerbera or something silly

No, I don't see it anywhere. Unless it has issues 8k for a sorted 4.5 is silly money. If it is sold though I guess you don't have an opportunity to reconsider. Somebody has got a bargain.

Well, there a plenty on ebay... you can also have a look here:

http://www.ooyyo.co.uk/used-tvr-cerbera-4.5-for-sa...

and, here:

http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/cat/3/100/cerbera/

There are probably other sources to, I also scoured all the Auction and Classic car auction sites. Many of the classic car auction sites use www.carandclassic (second link above) to advertise...

If your looking - good lucksmile
