Hello, I need some help with one of my Throttle body, (sorry if there is already a topic about that, but the "search" button don't like me...)
One of my throttle body (driver side) is not closing as it should, making the engine holding the same RPM (or sometime accelerate) when I change gear, the Joolz's return spring nearly solve that but I'm looking for a definitive fix.

What I did:
1) I removed the Throttle cable and the link rod
2) I removed all the part on both sides of both throttle bodies: -2x Throttle pots with the round part holding it
-Part with the idle screw and the round holding it/ Part holding the link rod on the other side.
When I compare the two throttle bodies the one on the passenger side can be opened and closed just by turning the rod holding the discs, when the one on the driver side just can't, I must press the discs to open or close Throttle.

So I think the problem come from the Linkage rod holding the four discs.
But here I'm stuck how to, first, remove the throttle body (There is two bolts I can't reach (the bolt which is on the front and the one on the rear)?
Two, where can I get a good working order Throttle Body? (Anyone biggrin ???)

There are five return springs on the 4.5 throttle bodies. There is one in each throttle position sensor, one at the rear of each throttle spindle, and the crude but effective large spring (either original or the longer more linear Joolz version).

Sounds like one of the return springs at the rear of the spindle has broken. They can be ordered from Racing Green, and you then have to bend the ends as required.

Thanks for the answer, in fact I removed the five return springs to find where the problem could come, and its really like the linkage rod on the throttle body is not straight anymore, like it "rub(?)" inside the throttle body.

You will need a ball hex to reach the awkward bolts. Once you have the throttle body off the car it is possible that you could remove and straighten the spindle if you find it is bent.

Check the size first in case it's not 6mm, better off getting a set anyway.

I will get a set from my tool store tomorrow, do you think I need the long version or a short one ?

Am I the only one whith an alternator touching the throttle body?
I know the alternator bracket allow some movement but if I make the alternator to get lower, my alternator belt don't suit anymore mad
