Spark Plugs?

Can anyone tell me if its worth spending the money on Iridium Plugs or are the standard ones just as good if changed regularly, whats the thing with Iridium, last longer? stronger spark? surely it depends on the quality of your ignition circuit.
When my Cerb sp6 is at Willow for its summer holidays(Chassis work), new coil packs and Magnecor leads are going on and I wondered about the plugs so if anyone has experience of both and can comment i'd love to hear, I do feel seduced by the packaging more than hard facts, and I love hard facts,

mmmmmmm Interesting, just read the HT snakepit thread and the opinions of Magnecor leads, tight fit etc, then the wise words of avoid Magnecor, so I might save my money and invest in the Iridiums with the standard HT setup,
Sounds like a plan, unless someone thinks otherwise.

Mine had magnecore leads when I first got it. When I took them off it was like they'd been infested with woodworm, totally destroyed by arcing. Now run standard leads with no issues at all

On the other hand, mine has been running with Magnecor leads for years and I have found them massively better than the standard ones in terms of durability. I heartily recommend them.

On magnacore, I had nightmares with he older cerbera.

Have used denzo now for years and still going strong. Not been changed in the last 3 years

I went with iridium after I fitted ACT manifolds as it was a bit of a pig to get the at the back two plugs with manifolds on.

Must say I've had them on for 4 years and no problems at all, if anything runs a little smoother.

Mines been on one set of Magnecors for 5+ years without any problem, until now. Got a misfire and working through possible causes, but now down to either the leads (will try some standard ones this time) or the 'alternative parts list' coil packs I had fitted by a local mechanic are, in fact, a pile of wk.

Magnecore are fine in a sp6 my Tuscan seems to run fine with them the cerb is on a set I got from power for its ajp
