Cerbera fuel pump..

Can anyone help me regarding the Cerbera fuel pump?

I have a Bosch 044 pump which delivers 198/L Hour at 3bar


Is it true the The cerbera pump delivers 128/ Hour at 3 bar which can cope with 450hp. (what is the part number and connection sizes ?)

I don`t think the standard Chimaera pump will cope with 350hp and I can`t find the part number.

The problem with the 044 pump when its get to a quarter of a tank the pump becomes very noisy ,it`s sending the fuel around the system to fast .Think its more designed for 500bhp car with a fuel swirl pot Thanks.

I have a 044 pump on mine and its definately no noisier than the original cerb pump. I still have the original pump in very good condition from the cerb so if yours is in good condition we could do a straight swap as I might want another 044 for a project.

I wonder why the pump is noisy after the tank drops to quarter full.

Mentioned on the other post but I also run a 044 in a chim with no noise probs and I know a lot of others do too.. Check everything else before you shell out for a new pump!
