Adjusting the door.

My drivers side door sits out by a few mm which has been annoying me for a long time now. Had a quick look at adjusting it last night but it wasnt obvious (to me at least!). The catch plate on the door doesnt seem to have any movement. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I adjusted mine on the catch plate so I'm sure you'll be able too. Make where it was just in case.

Loosen the two Allen bolts on the catch, on the actual door itself. You need to move it towards the outside of the car to close the gap. As mentioned above mark it first, I use a bit of sharpened chalk to draw around the edge of it, so you have a reference point.

Thanks for that, one of the head needs drilling as it completely rounded but when I loosened off the other one to have a look it just looked as though it was just a normal threaded hole so thanks for confirming otherwise so I can move the plate.
