I will be putting back on my 17 inch alloys for the winter but need some new tyres on the back. What seems to be the best option these days?
I have run the Bridgestone SO3's and found them great, currently have the older Toyo T1S on the 18 inch rims but was thinking about their latest T1R. The Goodyear GSD-3 seems to be TVR's tyre of choice at the moment and does get some tremendous write ups but what about the Uniroyal Rainsport 1 especially as i will only be using them from end October until March.
Any suggestions?

Having used the Toyo T1-S extensively on other cars, I now won't fit anything other than Toyos. So for both the missus's CLK and the Cerb, when the tyres go bald they'll be replaced with Toyos. The T1-S are currently a bit cheaper than the T1-R -- TBH I don't really know what the difference is other than that.
