Bought BM cats for my car but they are 40mm shorter than original cats on my speed 6 (275mm). It it the BM cats that are wrong or is 275mm wrong for 99 CERN speed 6. Cheers

Can anyone tell me the length of speed six cats. Are the 245mm ongoing or 275mm long. Cheers

The overal length of the cats are 275mm and the exhaust side dia is 53mm and the engine side is a dia of 125mm, these size are ax proximate as I've measured them with a tape measure.
These sizes are off a Cerbera Speed Six 2001.

That's great. For some reason the ones I bought from BM are only 245mm long

I know the AJP 4.5 and 4.5 are different lengths. Did you get them for one of these cars?

Thanks everyone. They are definitely the right type for a sp 6, however just too short for a Cerbera. Are the Tuscan t350 type shorter but same diameter. Cheers

My orignal cats where also longer than those aftermarket cats. But on closer inspection of the orignal cats, I noticed they where welded and extended by about 30mm. Also tried to find long cats but without success. The shorter cats have the advantage that the following tube can be connected with the cats already mounted. You probably need some welding and something like this:
