Not too much of a problem if you do round them. Just drive the head of the screw round with a good sharp cold chisel - that has always worked on mine.

Didn't quite work on mine. Completely fubar the head of one screw (after the first came out so easily frown ) before I resorted to tips from the internet. Used a #6 torx bit, hammered it home and it worked on the resulting three! Huzzah!

Yea, I was quite lucky to get them out I think. My heart sank when I saw they were slightly rounded off after spending several hours getting the bell-housing out.

I'm moving house over this weekend, so the car needs to be drivable at the latest on Tuesday morning.

I've now fitted new slave seals (with plenty of red rubber grease), now to refit the bellhousing, gearbox, starter motor, inlet + fuel rail, gear lever, diff (with new bushes, rear drive shafts, prop, heat sheild, exhaust, airboxes, battery, seats and wheels.

Soooo close to meeting my deadline!

Got everything back on and bolted in (except the seats and wheels). Unfortunately the return fuel line has sprung quite a leak. Let's see if I can manage to replace that tomorrow morning and leave myself enough time to finish packing.
