Hi

I'm after a 4.5 Cerbera, budget 13-17k, so I guess I'm looking at an earlier 1998-9 ish car.

If anyone is thinking of selling and hasn't advertised yet, or if you know of one that's not advertised in the usual places, please send me a message.

Not looking for a silver, grey, green, red, CATC or D one though.

There don't appear to be many about at present.

Thanks in advance

Will

Any reason for it to be a 4.5?

Because when you buy a 4.2L you might be faster or as fast but you are always wondering how the 4.5L is biggrin

So in case you need to or want to sell your Black/Black Cerb 4.5 Mk2, even in case of cat D or cat C (repaired), no probs PM me please.
For up to ehhh… 17k and does colour matter? Yes it does, so original and current colour black

right colour..........even better

if op is prepared to wait for his exact spec its up to him, but if he misses the right car because its the wrong colour, then its his loss.

Yes, colour's a pretty personal thing, not wishing to offend anyone, but looking out of our office window the car-park is awash with grey, silver and black and for a car such as a Cerbera, personally, I'd rather have an 'interesting' colour, I'm sure there's quite a few left I've not excluded!

I was looking for a 4.5 as 'posssibly' it might retain it's value a bit better over the 5-6 years I'm planning to keep the car. Obviously, this is a bit of a gamble, given the very small number of these cars for sale and the numerous other things that can influence prices.

Yes, isotope green would be nice, but unless I win the lottery waiting a bit longer is probably my best option.

Well, it's 'slightly' different to sage green or a British Racing type green wink

Spectraflair silver would be nice, but there are how many in that colour, 1 ??

Well, of the 21 cars in the PistonHeads classifieds, I'd go for the colour of 11 of them, well maybe 10 as black with a bright red interior may be out, so that's about 50%.

That black on red one is stunning! If I didn't have a Cerb already I'd be going for a looksee..

Curious as to why you'd not consider a Cat D car (yes mine's Cat D but not for sale), as that simply means cosmetic damage that the insurer was unwilling to pay for. If you're buying a garage queen investment, fair enough, but if you intend to drive it, why would you care?

I can understand the OP and tbh I was even fussier on colour. I was determined to get a Rolex Blue 4.5.

I personally would not want a car which had had a colour changeand would not consider a Cat D either. Originality / stigma and all that. I know there's nothing wrong with those cars, but that sort of thing matters to me.

OP just get your budget together and wait for the right car to come along. You'll know it when you see it.

Lol. I drive it to much to be concours and its most definitely not for sale. It's getting a nice garage built for it this year. 60 foot x 40 foot of pure cerb heaven, the cows will like also wink
