Oil Transfer leak

Hello All

I seem to have a decent oil leak from the Oil transfer pipe, (Sump to Pump)
looks to be from the flanges & bolts.

From the basic rebuild text I gather there are some pesky o rings in there. Does anyone know what size of the o rings so I can have them in hand. Also I dont have a torque figure for the little cap heads. Judging by their size I guess around 15 lbft???

I also presume the pump will need priming afterwards?

Last time I heard of this leaking the flange was cracked and required welding.

From my notes of the engine rebuild I believe the O rings are

Oil transfer pipe (21 x 3 x 27) (22 x 2 x 26)

The cap heads are very small possibly 4mm so go careful when tightening them

Ridds, you were right....




Looks like a weak point on the casting, need to sort the welding

Oh and the TVR specalist which looked after the car before me kindly stripped the sump drain threads for me.
