25.6 mpg what other supercar does that?
Discussion
I've posted similar before, but worth repeating. Did about 700 miles in the Cerb the other weekend, motorway, country lanes, 2 hours traffic through London, cruising, thrashing, everything. Even the mrs drove half of it!
All totally trouble free and returned 25.6mpg. I love my Cerb.
I didn't jinx it last time i wrote such a glowing post, hope i haven't this time either. But if i have, it's still worth it...
Happy driving all

To be honest i never paid a great deal of notice unless i was on a long journey and could calculate it easily, but with the advent of stupidly expensive petrol and smart phones a lovely little app tells me all...if you are on Android get triplog, it's even free but might turn you into a boring person...
So far the best i've had from the cerb is 25.6, the worst 10.8 (a bespoke performance driving day and thunder in the tunnels run enjoyed that tankful)
I commute 4 miles to work and have noticed the mpg generally halve what is possible if commuting, engine not really getting chance to warm up and all that. From the rest of my toys the Interceptor is consistantly the most thirsty, best being 13.5, worst 6.5mpg. The Dart (Daimler not Dodge) best 29.4, worst 13. Hilux mk2 pickup best 20.8, worst 15.8. Smart Roadster best 55.8, worst 34.9 (even including half day track fun at Goodwood)
Boring stats probably, but as pointed out earlier good indicators of problems, the Interceptor should be able to do 18 so that needs some fettling. Commuting in the Smart is hugely consistant varying by about 1mpg, but if I run the Smart on anything other than optimax the mpg will drop by around 5.
Zzzzz, time for bed, apologies for the dullness of post, i promise I will drive the Tivver vigorously tomorrow with complete disregard for economy, petrol prices or sleeping locals
