See my earler post from last night. Turns out it's not a CV joint. Will have to get the diff open to see what part has failed but while i'm at it i'd like to make it as bullitproof as possible and change for a better type of LSD. Has anyone used one of these ATB jobbies? Also is it better to get a specialist to rebuild it?

I was always told a friction plate LSD was better than an ATB type

Yes i'm sure i read that somewhere before about the ATB but on paper it dose seem like alot better way of getting more power down?

Yeah thanks! Thing is i've woken up to the fact that if i just put a standard second hand one in, it will be a false economy as i will break that one soon and any other weak component so i may as well bite the bullet and do things properly.

It turns out that 3k launches on a smooth warm grippy surface are too much for something. Will let you know what when i find the broken component. Lol!

I am interested. My diff was supplied with the conversion. I wanted the 3.08 diff. We are smoothening out the last things overhere to pass the dutch mot. Then the fun has to begin. Tried the Cerb for just a couple of seconds last friday. It blew me away!

Speak to readman racing (John read) about the plate diff. It's brilliant!
