Awesome Le Mans trip
Discussion
Just thought I'd post to say what an amazing Le Mans trip it was in the Cerb. Taken a Tuscan twice which was fun but in terms of comfort and ease of driving at high speed, the Cerbera is in a different league all together. It helps that, unlike the Tuscan, it doesn't feel like it's trying to throw you in the nearest hedge every time you go over a bump! I think I really have finally fallen in love with my Cerb.
Got so many admiring looks, thumbs up, pointing, pulling in to allow us to over take etc. The French generally love the car. The look on the faces of the 2 guys in a beaten up Panda when I lit up the rears and spun it 180 degrees after taking a wrong exit at a roundabout was fantastic! They were laughing their heads off and giving the thumbs up.
Great first stint from Calais with itsallyellow - I've got some footage of him going through a tunnel and sounds like Armageddon!
We went off piste from Rouen for approx 150 miles of hooning through the French countryside and had a huge amount of fun. I was in convoy with a GTR and a 360 Modena. I think the Cerb held it's own pretty well. There's not too much in it with the Modena albeit it was a little quicker with a few more BHP and no passenger or passenger camping equipment like I had. The GTR I'm afraid to say is another matter. It is just a flying machine, I couldn't keep with it no matter how hard I tried, then again it does have 600BHP!
High light for me was laying a number 11 on the Mulsanne Straight on Friday afternoon, that was fun and got a great response from those walking along the side of the road.
Downside was the door control unit packing up. At one point I couldn't close the drivers door or open the passenger door and boot. Eventually we got the drivers door working and just had to use the emergency entry to the boot. It was enough to get us home and not too much trouble in the end.
The Cerbera was legendary, nice to see a few others over there. Bring on 2014, that's all I can say!

Haha! That tunnel was a good laugh! Was trying desperately not to speed!! Would love to see the footage!
The Friday on the Mulsane was also my highlight...
Stayed there for a while and then did a few sets of 11's. managed to spin her up from pretty much the start of the crowd to the end! Good long 11's!
The Cerb is such a great car!! It puts a smile on everyone's face!

Couldn't agree more. What a great weekend. Just got home and unpacked. My car performed faultlessly, needless to say I'm a very happy man. Had an amazing drive down on some back roads with some much enjoyed spirited driving. Briefly saw Mike (itsallyellow) said hello as I was driving onto Houx site on Friday but never managed a pint as we always seemed to miss at the campsite. However I did get this in a stealth mission.

Agreed about the attention my car and our convoy received. We were mostly British manufactured cars and got quizzed a lot about the cars. I also believe these cars hold their own with more expensive exotica. Guess which cars got the attention in these photos.

Is the Cerbera a keeper...... Yes
Will it go back to Le Mans.....Most defiantly
Really hope we are not the only ones in Cerberas to have such a memorable trip this year. All my team agree, Defiantly top three out of the 14 we have done and quite possible tops the list.
