Cerbera roof and bonnet wrap
Discussion
Several years back someone was advertising carbon fibre bonnets for the Cerb and I was thinking about buying one and leaving it unpainted. Always tried to visualise it and et voila!
Love the bonnet, not so keen on the roof, but perhaps because it needs balancing with the boot being done?
Sadly by the time I decided to go for it (and at the same time rid myself of the damned stonechips) I couldn't find the advert again.

Ah it's the visionary v the traditionalists .Orlooking forward and stuck in the past
Nah it just looks s
t It's nothing to do with tradition or visions. "Visionary" is a rather self-flattering term don't you think? If you said "Experimenters" that might be less laughable. Visionary seems to suggest it's the way forward.
Unfortunately what most people who modify cars don't realise is that the reason it didn't leave the factory looking like that is because it looks b
ks.
There's nothing backward looking about people who think half-arsed attempts to make a car look like selected parts are made from something other than what they are. It's more they they, erm, see it as a half-arsed attempt to make random parts of the car look like they're made from something other than what they are.
Might as well use a tartan fabric look wrap for all the sporty lightness a carbon fibre wrap adds, and the funniest part of it is that even non-car people know that you haven't really got a race-tuned and lightened car lurking under there. It's up there with turbo whistlers stuck in the tail pipes IMO.
Er capri marina should have gone to specsavers and yes visionary would be the correct word just like all designers who have an idea or a different concept of what somethng should look like.lf not lets all go back to the ford model t or all drive around in exactly the same cerbera that would make tvr meets so much more fun .And lets face it not everything that comes out of a car factory is perfect.ie cerbera lite weight

So what's wrong with the lightweight ? Don't tell me the headlights.........That's traditionalist versus visionary, moving the design forward.

the fiberglass was that thin they struggled with the paint as the panels would warp in he oven hence the very limited number of true lite weightsThat's traditionalist versus visionary, moving the design forward.
