Good news (for me), my cerb has arrived in Melbourne, just waiting for customs and then the dreaded quarantine inspection!

Not sure how the road worthy will go but I can't wait to see it again!

Quarantine should be fine... I've done it with a well (ab)used Defender before and as long as you've kept it clean, it'll be OK.

FWIW - If you can, get down to the Quay and be on-site for the inspection. The personal touch does help as it is harder for them to order a steam clean if they have to say it to your face (the inspector is human after all). wink

smile excellent

Little one is putting on weight, nearly at 12kg now so will let you know when the other part of the seat is ready to be shipped

Just waiting for customs to give the ok on the docs I gave them for the valuation then I can sort out a date to go down to unpack it. I am hoping that they don't request to steam clean as I know that it could be up to 5 weeks to get it back and cost a few $, hopefully being there will help, especially if the didn't ask for a 4x4 to be cleaned!

Good news about the seat bolster, can't wait to get the wee man in and out for a drive.

Fingers crossed I will be unpacking it this week.

Just got the news that the car had been put on Cray hold, guess they want to see if it's hiding drugs or immigrants! Bit of a bigger as I think I get charged for the privilege.
