The driver side door decided to pop open not once but three times in 20mins ,anybody else had this jamesbond experiance and possible solve

Yes but it cured itself. Sorry not a great help but just so you know your not alone.

Would it be worth disconnecting the door control box to see if it resets itself

I had it with my passenger door and I think it was cured by a new latch

Happened to me as I was leaving the campsite at Le Mans off for a hoon around the French countryside. I then was unable to open the boot or passenger door. Thankfully one of our group is a car electronics whiz and got the drivers door working properly again whilst at Le Mans.. Rest of the trip relied on the secret entry and emergency release for the passenger door.

Sent the door control unit to pselectronics.co.uk as recommended on here. Currently diagnosis after soak test is that the box is all working fine. Anyone any suggestions as to my next course of action to try and resolve this? Oh I should say that despite having a multimeter thingy I've no idea at all what the readings it gives actually mean or how to test electrical circuits
