Flashing LED ?

Hi

I am another TVR novice so would appreciate all the help I can get.

I have a 4.5 Cerbera which has just come back from the garage today after having the exhaust/cat fixed as it was rattling/knocking when going around fast corners. Anyway, now the green LED on the Door,Boot Lock switch in the lower facia panel is flashing rapidly along with a red LED flashing in the rear screen.

Any ideas or am I going to have to take her back to the garage.

Thats the alarm, me thinks. There is a code for the number of flashes/second for fault finding, in the hand book.

Have you not noticed it before? Maybe its due to the darker afternoons??

Only ever noticed the green LED flashing slowly before. I looked in the book for the red LED and it says 4 flashes every 6 seconds or 16 flashes every 6 seconds, mine is flashing every second! Do you know if there is a way of resetting it or does it have to go to a dealer?

I thought the green LED was to indicate that the doors were locked, and couldn't be opened from the outside.

Happens when you either push the button in the middle, or when you go over x mph (can't remember how fast).

Try the reset..which is IIRC to hold the button on the fob down for 5 seconds...should get a laod of flashes, and that should reset it.
If in doubt...do a search here using "alarm" as this type of scenario has cropped up before.
