This seems like a daft way to sell a car like this, I would have thought the number of potential buyers was very small and you would be better waiting until the right buyer came along.

'The vehicle itself based on a 4200cc V8 TVR Cerbera and is capable of producing upto 550BHP with an estimated 0 - 60 of under 4 seconds and top speed in excess of 190mph.'

Are they trying to say that the 4.2 could be tuned to 550 bhp or that this one already is?
If it's a stock 4.2 then those performance figures are a bit misleading to say the least.

I assume it's a stock 4.2 with a 200BHP nitrous burst available.

I remember reading about it somewherebefore,
I think its just a standard engine with Nitrous.

I'd rather have a decent normal cerb for half the price!!
The body kit doessn't look right at all, makes the wheels look like they sit too far inside the arches instead of being flush.
Thats my opinion anyway, i'm sure someone likes it!!

Just done a web search for more info on it and found this.

www.maxpower.co.uk/car/history_template.asp?idArticle=2117

It does have some engine mods apart from the nitrous.

How to make a beautiful looking car look sh1te.

I'm trying to think of the designers having a conversation, "walk through Halfords & make a note of everything, you see"

"O.k., some air ducts, A rear spoiler, some more spoilers (and ducts), alloy wheels (big)"

"Oh, I popped in the local farm for some eggs on the way back, & thought a bit of chicken wire might look good on the front"

In a word HIDEOUS

I'd be amazed if someone bought that car for the price they are after... its a childs wet dream - and a child wont have that kind of dosh - unless he's a spoilt little brat with a filthy-rich father...

I reckon, if they put it for sale at 30k, taking into consideration the true cost of the underlying car and the things they've done - 30k sounds about right... but its a used car and probably got cheesy stains everywhere from the many ladies that literaly exploded when they sat in there....

I'd give him £40!!
spend 5 grand or so getting back to normal and you'd hopefully have an ok cerb for £5040!!
Actually it would probably cost a lot more than 5K to rectify that mess!!

5K Wouldn't scratch the surface of that

In the world of insurance, that monstrosity would be known as a category A

IMO of course

Ebay is however a great place to advertise your car for fook all money.

I think it is pretty horrid but hats off to the chap for having the bottle to do it. With the exception of the NOS I doubt the engine has any more power than a normal 4.2 and with all that extra tat to lug about I bet it is about as quick as my oil burner.

Carisma have probably just discovered how much the 24000 mile service is going to be, and are trying to recoup their losses!

"Sir, oh Sir, does this mod invalidate the warranty?"

Can you imagine getting the insurance quote for it, after an hour specifying all the mods/abhorations they'd give you the figure - a five figure sum

Its all cosmetic mods (par the NOS - which I have gut feeling will blow those piston rings to smithereans before annihilating the pistons cause them to cease up against the liners and ripping into the block whilst the valves ejaculate unburnt fuel up into the head causing rapid detonation - leaving the whole engine in a really sorry stage - only set to now be carried off into Douglas Valley's breaker yard to be ripped and scattered across the UK, so you never know, next time you get a used part put in your car - you can say "it was in the charisma cerbera" - (plus are there any 100% certified unquestionably honest dyno charts?)...

and that normally puts the cost of insurance up by a fair bit - the more attractive she is to the respective thief - the more likely she or parts of her will dissapear - I for one can almost guarantee that the carbon spoiler would be the first thing to go for a one way ticket to the essex underground underage-sex enriched 4 foot wheelbase hatchbacks...
