Hands up anybody who doesn't throw their keys into to little carpeted tray on the centre tunnel...

... nobody? I thought so.

What I want to know is, how come they never fall out no matter how quickly i'm going?

Mine always go flying off somewhere!!
And my phone!
The other day I spent about 20mins searching for them when I stopped for petrol!
Eventualy found the keys had slid down underneath the gear gaiter!!

I keep them in the drivers door pocket thing now (cant remeber the correct name for it!!!)

Yup, keys stay in, but anything else will be catapulted out, usually under the pedals where they jam the throttle wide open, honest officer!

Hi Guys, I had problems with me phone and sunglasses shooting off the shelf, then I purchased a grip mat from les smith motor accessories at £2.99. I cut it to size and job done. It doesnt look as nice as the carpet but the problem is solved, everything sticks like glue !

I'll put my hand up, I never put anything in there, as it rattles around, falls out and generally annoys me.

As an alternative, I've perfected the 'unlock the car, open the door, vault into the driver's seat, and press the start button before the immobiliser kicks in' manoever. Bonus points for putting shopping in the boot and still firing the thing up!

my keys always go there, along with my phone. They get tossed from pillar to post, but have never fallen out.

I've lost a few pound coins down the centre tunnel, I'll be using that as a selling point when I sell her on
