Custom made AJP8 crush metal exhaust manifold gaskets

I'm busy doing some tinkering with the Cerb and have the manifolds off. Whilst disassembling them I noticed they had been leaking in a few places including the manifold joints - this is despite using the correct high temp sealant. So, I'm going to install gaskets at each and every joint in the exhaust system. ACT now supply gaskets for the joints as per their system, but nobody supplies one for the AJP8 exhaust manifold as far as I'm aware. Hence I've been in contact with a company that makes custom gaskets and they are making a run of 50 based on the template I am providing. I spent a few hours this afternoon knocking this up:



It fits very well, matching the port profile and locating snugly over the studs I've installed. As I only need 8 there will be another 5 sets available if anyone else wants them - it works out at £22 for a set of 8. If anyone wants a set, please pm me.

Gaskets have arrived and all those interested have been pm'd. Quality looks good and they fit great over the exhaust ports.

There aren't any spares I know of, Rich & I emailed Windsor but were too late, they were all taken. So with the two of us emailing (I’m assuming Rich isn’t Boatbuoy or julian64 going by a different name!) & two on here it should make 4 of us wanting some.

They come in batches of 50, so we only need two more people to get another batch made up.

Give me a chance to get home and I'll look into it. Longbow has been kind enough to send me details of the maker so will enquire.

Pasted in wrong thread so here goes:
I think the 4.2 & 4.5 may have different exhaust manifolds. But I'm 99% sure the heads are the same so the gaskets will be to.
I'll send some emails out tomorrow to confirm with every one, think we may have enough people for another batch now.
