Headlight de-seaming

I've seen many headlight conversions in various formats, some blended in with the wings, others with new pods. Mines gone in this week to have the front end repaired after the badger incident, and while she's in I'm getting the original light pods de-seamed and blended in. Has anybody else done this? I'll post photo's when she comes back and get your opinions.

Sounds good but how will u change the headlamp glass if it brakes or u need to adjust the lamps.

Not sure the seemed pods come out anyway. Never worked out how to release mine.
