coolant temp sender for ecu - what car is it from?

My fans are increasingly cutting in at higher and higher temp, so sounds like the coolant temp sender for ecu is starting to fail. I can buy one from a number of TVR online stores, but the postage is as much as the unit itself, and i have to wait for delivery.

So, does anyone know what vehicle the unit comes from? Thought i could then pop to my local auto shop and pick one up there.
