Well, after nearly 16 years of TVR ownership and having owned most models except one, that 'one' has now been purchasedthumbup
A 4.5 Red Rose in reflex purple.
It was in the classifieds and the owner was in Northern Ireland.
So, last Sunday, flew out to Belfast, the owner collected me and drove the hour drive to his house. After looking through the paperwork and taking for a test drive, the deal was done. Then a 100 mile drive to Dublin ferry port and caught the 9pm ferry which arrived in Holyhead at 1am. Then a 300 mile trip home through the night arriving home at 6-30am.
So, after a week with my new toy, I have to say, why oh why have I not done this before.
The car is absolutely stunning in all respects, and the best bit...... well, being de-catted and also wearing sports pipes, had to go through a very very long tunnel on the way to Dublin ferry port.
I have to say, we were laughing out very loud, just like silly little school childrenhehehehe it was just like artillery fire out of the backyikes
The sound track is absolutely amazing, and without doubt the BEST sounding TVR that I have owned.
So, am very much looking forward to the next few weeks, getting to know the car, so expect some what may be silly questions from a new Cerb owner

Save the best TVR till last! Good man........looks a stunner.

Has it got the short induction kit fitted? If not, worth doing.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Mr Cerbera's post just about sums it all up.
Have spent the afternoon in the garage machine polishing, and funnily enough have probably spent more time in the garage than in the house this week. What other car can have this effect, even after owning TVR' s for 16 odd yearsthumbup
So to re-iterate biggrinbounceangelbeerbouncebouncebiglaughwaveyclapclapcloud9woohoodrivingshoutthumbup

Glad I'm not the only nutter that tries to keep more than one in top condition. I've also spent all day on mine, mostly the Cerb too.
