When the drivers door window is fully down and I open/close the door it lifts the window to about 3/4 closed, the passenger one doesn't do this, it stays down. Do I need to disconnect/reconnect the window ECU? Its not exactly a major gripe but if its a simple fix and all that.

Check the plugs are secure on the control unit in the boot, it's usually on the right hand side above the tank. As you look at the four plugs, you will see a plug with one red and one black wire on the left, with a long plug to the right of it. The plug directly behind this long plug contains the window wiring. The wires for the right hand window are yellow with a green stripe (down feed) and yellow with a black stripe (up feed). If the pins are o.k pull the door trim off and check the microswitch at the front edge of the door. Check all the plugs within the door too, as very often they end up with green snot inside which causes all sorts of wierd issues...

Thanks, will check this out. Been meaning to get the door cards off as the n/s window is slow and needs a lube plus connections checking over.
