Looking for a good indy in the hampshire area, heard about a company I think called APM, and a guy called Andy ? am I correct and how do I contact them ?

Any thoughts on this company and are there any others in a shortish drive.

Cheers Guy's

Going there tomorrow for my first service - I've already spoken to Andy a few times regarding various bits and he is a top bloke, knows he stuff and wants to save you money rather than increase his profit

Look forward to meeting him tomorrow morning.

AND there is a burger van opposite (closed on Saturdays).

If you need to get a taxi home or to Liphook train station when dropping of the car I have found these guys to be good.
Bordon Cars 01420 474378
Book in advance though as they get busy.

There is also a tyre place next door to APM. Yet to try them but the first quote I got beat others.

Dusty you star, was going to speak to Andy later about the best way to get to the station (read blagg a ride) but that's ideal.

And I can get a spot of breakfast while waiting

I now use that taxi service to take me from APM all the way to Basingstoke because its quicker than BR and the drivers are all friendly people so have a good chat and put the world to rights before getting to work.
(Plus the lady drive is an Ex-TVR owner!)

I have often wondered if we could all help each other out a bit using APM such as arrange to drop off as others are collect so we could give lifts too and from the station etc.
So many of us use his services now Im sure there is a way to do this. Perhaps just too complicated though.

Andy @ APM is excellent!

A good job, at a good price. I have used him for the last 2 years without complaint.

Infact have just booked my car in for another service with him

Top man indeed - popped in virtually unannounced Saturday morning to play around with suspension settings for a track day coming up, and he wouldn't even take any money off me!!

Mind you, as a thankyou I did promise not to tell anyone that he was working on a BMW 5 series DIESEL when I arrived!!

DOH!

cheers

I add my vote to those already voiced for Andy .. spoken to him a few times on the phone and always polite, courteous and well mannered. if his work is as good (and from posts on here it seems it is) you can't go far wrong.
