In love again!

I got my Cerb back today after its short stay at APM. Andy found an air leak in the servo hose which was upsetting the running on one bank and the plug leads were pretty ropey as he said he got a belt off one of them. It's running so smoothly now and seems to have more urge than I remember, it's a real pleasure to drive again. I hadn't noticed how the performance had dropped off as it must have happened over a good few months.
So, following a brief flirt with trying to sell it (but not too hard) a few months back , I've decided to stay in the fold and keep it for the long-term. I can't bring myself to sell such a gem of a car at a give-away price when everything is spot on apart from a bouncy tacho needle!
Time for a polish and some Connelly hide care on the leather...

Just a thought - a bouncy tacho needle is a classic sign of the big fuse on its way out. I suggest replacing it if you haven't - it may make the car perfect!!! grovest

Thanks for the suggestion Rob. Sadly not that easy, it really is the instrument, and I hear that the company who refurbish them don't live up to their name and are are far from "speedy". Maybe I'll just live without it for a few months and get it fixed, winter is coming so no need for revs...
