Hi,

Off to VMAX at the weekend. Any ideas as to what pressure I should set the 18's on my 4.5 to? I'm looking for as much stability as possible (plus safety) at 160mph plus.

Car also has Nitrons fitted all around. Would it be best to set these harder or softer for Bruntingthorpe?

Cheers,

Rob

For straights keep the psi low - for twisties - keep the psi highish - stiffer sides will generate sharper response - but also quicker bites at the twists - so there is a compromise - there are some trackers on here that I'm sure have come up with ideal pressure settings and wheel alignments and shock settings...
Joolz is a pro racer - he does the tasmin challenge - I wander if he has any views on ideal settings at Brunting... Joo?

Keep it standard unless you are expecting *sustained* high speeds or unless you encounter significant tyre heating.

Cheers Gents,

All pretty much pointless now as I'm not going to VMAX anymore. Just watched the AA take the car away AGAIN. Think I've blown the diff! Bugger.

Cheers,

Rob
