Flywheel clutch issues

From previous posts you will find I have been having clutch and gearchange problems on my 4.5. Box has been rebuilt by CTS. Brand new AP clutch bur after 200 miles gears started to be difficult to select and would catch when changing. Checked operation of all hydraulics and bled system using pressure bleeder.
Have removed clutch and box again, clutch look like new and gearbox gears can be easily selected with box out of car.
The only issue I can find is with any part of the system is the RaceProved lightened flywheel I fitted about 3000miles ago. It has several hotspots with small cracks and has gone blue with heat in about 6 or 7 different places. The friction area on the flywheel has also become concave so that the outer edge has pulled back (think of an upside down frisby) by 10thou.
Has anyone else had any experiences good or bad with the RP race flywheel.

Very good link there.Can poor pedal push rod setup cause this? too little throw? Leading to overheating.
