The front tyres need repacing and looking to match the Goodyear Eagle F1's on the rear, but the only Goodyear Eagle F1's 225/35R18 tyres I can find for sale are 87W XL (AO) FP TL, which I believe are made for Audi and 'extra load' which I'm guessing means a stronger sidewall/harder ride. Anyone any experience with these tyres or other suggestions?

Stronger sidewall can mean less flex and better handling?

Have you looked on;

Yes looked at Camskill and Blackcircles, both have these but no other options.

Reinforced sidewalls can only be a good thing with Spiders on a Cerbera, particularly on the rubber band front tyres.

Ok thanks, I'll go for a set with AO designation and see how they go.

Just out of interest, does anyone run wider than 225 at the front? The Sag has the same wheel size and offsets but 255/35 tyres front and back rather than the 225/35 front and 255/35 back on the Cerb.

Stiffer sidewalls handle horrible as they do not absorb the road so readily. I have been there, i sold them as they were death defying down bumpy roads.
The Toyo's are about the best with the silly low profile, i have gone up to 40's and had to trim a little off the body work and the Toyo R1R is the best street fitment i have had yet, Like a "normal" car on the B roads.

If Toyos are the best on Spiders that's bad news. I thought that combination was f*****g awful!

I'm looking for tyres at the moment and can't seem to find any that aren't XL or AO, must be due to the low profile I presume.

I'm leaning towards Pirelli P-Zeros, has anyone on here tried them?

I've had P-Zero Assymetricos on the S-Type with no issues. I would avoid P-Zero Neros though:

This was one of two which were bought at the same time and covered about 8,000 miles in under 10 months with correct pressures and no geometry issues on my X-Type.
