Guys,
Would anyone per chance know the exact measurements of the splitter for a Cerb. I am offshore at present, but have available materials to make one up - Just need the length and screw hole positions etc.
Thank you in advance
It may be worth a PM to SimonKD, he may have dimensions as he made one for meWould anyone per chance know the exact measurements of the splitter for a Cerb. I am offshore at present, but have available materials to make one up - Just need the length and screw hole positions etc.

I suspect its the same splitter as on the Griff, but haven't measured.
Most interesting thing is that on the Cerb it is mounted the other way around meaning its more of a wind deflector than the splitter on the Griff. That's TVR though.
98% of Cerbs, Griffs and Chims have had the splitter wiped off. Most interesting thing is that on the Cerb it is mounted the other way around meaning its more of a wind deflector than the splitter on the Griff. That's TVR though.
You can get one from ACT and a few other places.
Basically it is positioned near the rear of the chin of the car, ie about a foot back from the front of the car, underneath.
Mine on my Chim is a piece of stainless, 900mm long (ie from side to side under the car(=) and 75mm wide, with a 45 degree bend the entire length, halfway across the 75mm. It then needs about 6 evenly spaced screw holes and fitting- you should find the old holes under the car from where the one yours had from the factory got knocked off.
There are some good photos near the end of the splitter thread in the Chimaera section - but the Cerbera has it fitted facing the rear of the car, not the front. It still creates a slight vacuum under the engine, which helps suck air through, improve cooling and stops the bonnet flapping (as much). My car was also improved by tightening the bonnet catch - i had the bonnet flap at 70mph passenger side, 100 mph drivers side and fly open at 135mph... now it stays put all the time.

Its ok, I was asking Englishman if he had one, as he has a Cerb with a splitter.........not that i can see it in that photo, but its been a long week.
I have a splitter on mine, straightened it after I got the car, works well at keeping the nose down, and never got close to scraping it, but car isn't stupid low either

) but would hate for the bonnet to wobble loose! and from what I am reading - certainly worth fitting.
