Meta m99t alarm problem

Hi,
My alarm siren seems to like going off all the time, the indicators don't flash and the LEDS do not indicate that the alarm as been active, from other threads I believe that the problem may be the battery backup or water ingress???is it possible to isolate the siren so that I can at least lock the car untill I can get it over to a meta agent or if I disconnect the main battery , reconnect it, setting the alarm off , will this drain the backup battery totally or will it be recharged when I lock the car???, anybody know a reliable mobile auto-electrician in the Mansfield area??

Sorry but I think you will be very lucky to get a reply... have a look at the sticky thread at the top for the reason. If you really are an owner I'm sure you will understand but with only 1 post in 8 months we can't be too careful.
Best advice I can offer is to contact your nearest dealer for advice or call out the AA/RAC

Hi,
Yes, I can see where you are coming from , hopefully Joolz will be reading this and he will beable to vouch for me as he serviced the car 2 weeks ago,as I stated I am stuck with a TVR that I can't lock so if/when Julien confirms ownership my Email address is: [e-mail]

No problem, I'm sure if Joolz can vouch for you then that will be fine. To be honest though he would be the best person on here to tell you what to do.

I need to speak to Joolz myself soon about a couple of little things needing done before the winter.

Paul, in ur mail to me you said the indicators *were flashing* .. hence i told you you'd need to bring it in! .. if it's just the siren it's not much of a problem .. I'll mail you direct what to do.
