i have side lights and full beam, but no dipped beam. I have read other threads about this, and it seems to be the connectors burning out on the controlller box in the boot. But when i unplug the box and look at the connectors, everything looks fine, all contacts look nice and silvery and clean. I can also hear a relay click in the controller when i click to dipped beam, so am assuming controller is ok?

Is there a fuse that just operates the dipped beam?
Cheers
Steve

Quick search says fuse 1 which should be 20 amp

Have you got dim dip?

cheers, hand book says fuse 4 (20 amp), checked and all fine. Looks like a job for Andy at APM next week when she goes in for some other work.

Look again above the fuel tank as there are 2 black boxes that control the lights.

You'll need a multimeter to test the electrics thoroughly.

My headlights stopped working and found the fault to be a connector which is located around the front passenger area. Last area I looked after the connector boxes, helmet cubby hole connector, front panel connector, headlights themselves.

TVR connectors = ScensoredT

Small box on the right 2" X 1" roughly. Not labelled.

If you can't find it it's probably down the back of the fuel tank with its charred connector. wink

Agree with Ridds it must have fallen behind the tank as you do need the 2 controllers.
