This is a cerbera. Beautifully understated but would have you for breakfast. Love it.

The description reads Spectrum Tiffany Green, but i would have to personally say i'm not a fan of the colour, which is rare, as i've found most cerbera paint jobs to interest me.

It's rare. And given the numbers quoted on how many are left, any unmolested, early, low mileage, single owner Cerbera is wow for me. I really love it!

Hello,

Thought I would update this to say that I bought this Cerbera before Christmas...I know the colour is certainly not to everyone's liking, but the condition of the vehicle was excellent and I do have a history of slightly odd colour choices.

I have put 500 miles on it already, taking it up North (the long way around)... very addictive vehicle and one I am trying not to drive with salt on the roads, but it is proving difficult to avoid when I walk past it.

Had a Chim before, remarkable just how completely different they feel, even if the Chim was a 500.

First issue (great first post eh?) - the heater packed up, thought it would be either the control fuse (no) or the heater fuse (no), so trying to work that through now.

Next plan is to take it to Joolz to get it mapped.

So, hello and hope to see some of you around at events etc...

Can't tell what engine you have, but if it's 4.5 then Joolz will transform your car. Ideally you will have the short induction fitted, that really helps because the old purple hoses will be collapsing under full throttle.

Before you go try to ensure that the cooling system is working well, rad, hoses, thermostat etc. Otherwise things will not go well. The exhaust manifolds will also be tested to the extreme, thankfully mine failed after the remapping had been completed during a post map hoon.

Fill the tank with the fuel you will be using most often, take everything out of the boot, it gets really warm in there (my carpet melted because the boot was full).

Hum, when Joolz did mine, he kept running the car to the fuel station and only putting a little in so the fuel didn't heat up and affect the results. New fuel is cold.

Did you have the tvr spec exhaust (the big box across the back)as I have the smaller sports AT exhaust and it didn't affect my boot temps much

When you say the heater packed up, no fan noise/airflow, or no heat output?

If no heat it could be an airlock or did the car get upto temp?

Bleed it when the Engine is Warm(ish) not when hot and under pressure. And not when the engine is running.
Park the car so the nose is in the air - eg front wheels on a plank of wood.
Undo the Expansion tank cap.
Undo the big nut on the passenger side of the Radiator, and use a funnel to top it up with water.
Loosen off bleed nuts until water comes out. Tighten them back up.
Top up through the radiator again (if required).
Tighten everything back up, and run the engine for about a minute, and repeat. That should do it.

Byker - On the heater front the entire heater control panel has stopped working, all lights off and therefore fans. Presume it is the heater ECU as have replaced the fuses, have not had the opportunity to stick my head into the foot well yet and am slightly scared to as I am considerably more mechanically minded than electrically minded. In fact if anyone knows anyone in the Hartlepool/Durham area they would trust looking at TVR electrics, please say.

ukkid - it is an early 4.2, running the standard (non sports) rear silencer. I am not looking for more power but rather a smoothing of delivery, especially at the low end and hopefully a less erratic idle.

Thanks for the replies.

I was only there for one day, rather than the usual two day tuning session, that's probably why Joolz requested a full tank.

I have the stupidly loud sports exhaust, but I'm hoping to replace it with a proper back box soon (I have one but it needs knocking back into shape).
