hi
just wondering if true that a Speed 6 clutch is a fair bit lighter in operation than the v8 cars? (as i have read somewhere)

living in london and with bad knee means its a prime consideration

or any mods that can lighten the action at all? I have test driven a cerb many years ago and dont recall the clutch being too bad at the time

Both when in good condition or new should be the same.

I believe that the clutch is the same for the speed six as for the AJP, still the AP multiplate unit.

I have an AJP and te clutch is not heavy, certainly I have never thought of it as being a noticable hinderance in heavy traffic.

Yes the clutch, slave cylinder and bellhousing design are common to both engines. I wouldn't go so far as to say spline counts etc are identical because I don't know, but they are visually the same and the slave & master cylinders etc are the same parts on both.
