Just looking to see if these would fit the Cerb in 18 inch, thinking of a set to put slicks on for track days and then put road tyres on the originals for road or wet track day use.

They are certainly going cheap.

I thought the received wisdom was that for track use 16 or 17 inch was best and the 18 inch should be reserved for bling.

I know that Spiders are pointless on the track, I was thinking of 18's as I seem to be able to source a wider range of tyres in 18.

Open to recommendations from those in the know, I don't want to spend a fortune I am just looking for some track rims really.

You want Jap fitment, there are lots of choices, stick to around 35mm offset, i have Jap Rota's on the back in 10" with a 35mm off set, you can easily accomadate an et50, thats what my rims from SP are, again 10" wide, these actually fit better, and still plenty of room on the inside suspension components.
