I saw that the fuelline goes through the top of the transmissiontunnel to the back. Is there also a returnline on the othe side?

If I want to replace it, what do i have to take apart?

It only goes through the transmission tunnel on older cars. 1997 (Q2 ?) onward it is a pair of steel lines that run inside the cabin. On all cars there is a flexible vacuum line for the purge canister that runs through the tunnel which is often mistaken for a fuel line.

If your fuel lines run through the tunnel, then yes there is also a return line. To replace them you will need to take off the chassis brace, heat shield, propshaft and may need to at least loosen the fuel tank to get to the bayonets.

If yours run through the cabin you need to remove the seats & centre console and the coolant header tank.

Ok. Min's a 1997 january or february. Chassis is a 1996.

You cant tell for sure by date - easiest is to take out the helmet holder and look between the back seats. If you have a steel line coming in through the wheel arch to the interior of the car and disappearing under the console you have internal lines - if not the will be tucked between the chassis and body in the transmission tunnel.
