Shall i DE-CAT or not?

It might be worth mention that Sunninghill told me earlier in the week they would add 10% to a cerb premium "because it adds to the power" (the point being your insurance company may decide to charge you for doing so).
For acoustics, pops & bangs I would definitely decat if I had a cerb

For the last three weeks I have been driving the Cerbera to work everyday, 70 mile round trip. The car has sprts exhaust and decatted. I can understand how the low hum while doing 70+mph could annoy them or give them a headache but for me its
From outside the car sounds life a F1 car, just not as high reving. It really does come on song above 3000rpm.
The pops and bangs go up ten fold but expect a slight drip in MPG.
Having said that I have been getting about an extra 100miles from a tank over the last week. Its now 2500miles after a full engine rebuild, so it may just have bedded in now.
Right off for an Indian.

I really must go!
Here is the MPEG. Had some issues getting it onto my PC. Called my PC geek mate who is hosting it for me.

no animals were harmed during the making of this movie. All speeds are well within the NSL and if it looks quicker its a camera trick. The volume of the exhaust is well within legal limits and any volume over this limit was acheived with mirrors.

Its great fun - but if you're a family driver - it kinda doesnt drop with the deco - decat sports system is ok for the single/married but young - but if you're using the car as a family thing too - then I'd refrain from going decat, sports system is good enough - any louder and you're playing the ricer game with a muscle car... DONT DO IT! Plus you're messing up the environment totally!
But, I'm a hypocryt... so dont listen to me

I've heard rumors that de-catted cars are actually better on fuel!
Don't know if thats true or not
Has anyone who's decatted their cerb noticed any gains??
First few weeks the MPG goes down. This is due to youe newly weighted right foot!![]()

I could well imagine that!
