Cerbera storage over winter - advice needed !
Discussion
Hello Fellow Owners... !
I am just looking for your advice/recommendations..
I am currently storing my Cerbera over winter in our garage and she is plugged into a trickle charge my question is we have a very old tumble dryer in our garage that is used once a week to dry clothes, I don't have a hot air exit pipe so all the hot air and dust goes in the garage... I am looking at getting a condensing tumble dryer so all the moist air will go into the collection point in the dryer however with the old dryer will this have any damage to the car? I am thinking rust, electrics etc..?
Cheers guys
all the best for the new year.

Have to agree there. My garage isn't totally dry but bits don't corrode too quickly.
With a tumble dryer put all that moisture into the air I could just see the thing rusting on the spot. Seeing what happened in my Kitchen when the vent pipe fell off the moisture will cling to everything.
No chance of drilling a hole in a wall?

I'd definitely not do this, it's asking for trouble. See here - http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/relative-humidit... recommends under 40% RH for no rust generation.
I've kept my Cerb in a dehumidified garage when not being used for 5+ years and there has been no deterioration in chassis condition over this period.

Can you not drill a hole in the wall (lots of holes, then chisel an opening) take the pipe out of the back of the tumble dryer and stick it through the wall to the outside? I am just looking for your advice/recommendations..
