New issues you need to look for what ever you have dislodged but I doubt that the speedo not working is common to the newer issues.
I had the speedo sensor changed to a steve heath one about 4yrs ago but have lost instructions.Love that word;-)

I agree the symptoms have nothing to do with the speedo, something I've done :-(
