Hi all

After seeing a couple of posts on this recently, I went digging on google to see if I could find some images.

I unearthed these two, are these pictures showing the original factory cage?

Thanks!

I can not see clearly from those photos but the standard cage does not connect to the chassis at the back and I believe it has a bar that goes across the front uprights that is hiddem in the dash.

As above, I am sure that the I saw a bar running across the car behind the dash when I was working in the foot well a couple of weeks ago. So I am guessing those pics are not standard.

In fact, looking at those on a better screen, I don't think that is a Cerbera chassis. Perhaps a Chim or Griff?

Those pictures are of a Typhon chassis.

Right you are:

Has anyone got a pic with the engine in situ, my brain can't work out what's going on at the front and why it would be made that way (engine removal must be tricky)?

I'm not convinced you could say the Cerb has a 'roll cage', that implies far more rigidity and protection than we actually enjoy.

The cerbera roll cage offers more side impact protection than the one above .
